St Francis Bay

Port St Francis is a Port which was originally conceptualised by a group of fishing entrepreneurs who were the pioneers of the squid fishery in the early 1980’s. It is home to approximately 40 commercial squid fishing vessels and 100 recreational vessels of all sorts.

Surrounding this picturesque Port is a residential development which is one of the development nodes of St Francis Bay.

The village of St Francis Bay is nestled in the Western edge of St Francis Bay. It is a quaint village with 2 distinctive neighbourhoods with 2 very different architectural styles.

The Sea Vista Canal area is comprised of luxury thatched white houses most of them interlinked with a canal system which provides each home with a road and a canal frontage. This gives residents access to the river and then out the mouth to the open ocean.

The Santareme area is an area of Sardinian style houses with earthy colours and red roofs. This area overlooks the lovely Bay of St Francis and the Port St Francis is adjacent to this Sardinian style development.
